Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester, a three Michelin-starred restaurant in the heart of Mayfair, embodied the group's gastronomic excellence in London. Its website had to reflect this exceptional positioning while fitting within the Groupe Alain Ducasse digital ecosystem.
The challenge: designing an elegant and immersive site that conveys the experience of the venue - from the iconic dining room to the work in the kitchen - while offering a seamless booking journey suited to a demanding international clientele.
The site had to carry the restaurant's art direction - refined photography, elegant typography, sober palette - while remaining technically consistent with the group's other digital properties, built on Drupal.
Editorial autonomy was central: the restaurant team had to be able to update menus, seasonal events, and news without technical intervention. The booking journey, seamlessly integrated, had to allow visitors to go from discovery to reservation in just a few clicks.

An exception within the Groupe Alain Ducasse Drupal ecosystem, The Dorchester site was built on WordPress with a headless architecture. This choice, driven by the project's specific constraints and the local team, nonetheless provides the same editorial autonomy for the restaurant team to manage content, menus, and events on a daily basis.
The responsive design, conceived mobile-first, showcases exceptional culinary photography and streamlined navigation. The integrated booking system provides a frictionless journey from the menu to table confirmation.
The site is part of a broader digital harmonization effort across the group, where each establishment has a site true to its identity while sharing a common technical foundation.
